Pale ruby red, with purple hues.
Berrylike- blackberry, raspberry, blueberry; intense; grapey; slightly peppery and liquorish spice note.
Medium bodied; prominent yet fine tannins; elegant; plenty of acidity; spicy.
Feathered game, roasted lamb dishes; be creative, try it with tempura.
